When did you get started at POM:

I began volunteering at POM in March 2018 and then thanks to a King County levy, I became a staff member in April 2019.

Manager - Non-profit Recovery Center, Senior Advocate/Caregiver

What brought you to POM:

In 2018 I expanded my career to include duties as a Peer Support Specialist. I was preparing to take the state exam and discovered that the waiting list was over a year. Priority was given to those that were volunteering in the field, so I volunteered here as a case manager.

I immediately fell head over heels in love with POM, was offered a job, and well, never did take that exam....
